July 17, 2009 - Rocknasium in Davis

Can you find Scott in the photo below?
Our family and Kayla went rock climbing for fun one night. We took Ian (our neighbor's 17 mo old) with us too. Ian had fun running around. I didn't climb (although I have before and I like it) because of PMS. All the girls and Scott had a great time! If you go there, it's kinda warm because they don't have the best air conditioning. http://www.rocknasium.com/

July 17, 2009

Out for ice cream with the girls! I treated them to ice cream because both Maia and Carissa had to get their blood drawn that day. Carissa for her hypothyroidism and Maia for low iron. Results of the test just came in: Carissa has to increase her dosage and Maia's iron levels are fine.

July 20, 2009 - Scandia

We took our girls and Kayla & Kyle out to Scandia for FHE. Of course Scott scored the best at miniature golf! The boys had fun in the batting cages too. We scored lots of tickets on a Deal or No Deal arcade game (over 500 tickets total).

July 18, 2009 - Kenny Chesney Concert

Scott and I had so much fun at the concert. This was part of Scott's 30th birthday present from me. As you can see, our seats (we are standing next to them) were pretty good.
We were in Section 108 of AT&T Park.

Chesney's opening song was, "When the Sun Goes Down".
He came flying in over the audience on this mobile swing/chair
.

Here's a close-up of him on it.

Great view from the stage.
They showed this up on the big screen (that's how I got the shot).

This concert was a tribute to his new CD release, "Kenny Chesney Greatest Hits II", along with his new single release, "Out Last Night". It was a great concert to go to because he played all his greatest hits. There is definitely a reason why he wins Country Music Entertainer of the Year every year!

July 16, 2009 - Dolphin Kisses

Another fun day at Six Flags with me, Scott,
Carissa & Maia, and Kayla.

Their favorite ride. Kayla got a bad blister from turning it so fast!

Kayla, Maia, and Carissa at Dolphin Cove - What lucky girls!

You can guess what their favorite part of the day was!
Who wouldn't love to feed, play, and kiss a dolphin?

July 10, 2009 - Discovery Kingdom

Another fun day at Six Flags!
The girls had fun with Aunt Stacie, Uncle Mark, Grandma,
and all their cousins: Kyle, Kayla, Bryan, and Anthony.

July 5, 2009: Giants Vs. Astros

.
Me, Scott, Carissa & Maia, Scott's Parents, Kyle & Kayla, and Nathan (Scott's cousin)

Maia, Kayla, and Carissa running the bases.

What a boring game (Scott even started to fall asleep)! Should've went to church! 7 to 1 (Giants lost). The girls and their cousins had fun running the bases after the game. Daddy spoiled the girls with a Giants Build a Bear. I thought they were on clearance for $3, but it was actually a sticker adding $3 to the regular price (to make it worse there were TWO $3 stickers on each bear...making them an extra $6 each). I nearly had a heart attack when I saw the total. Scott didn't have the heart to take them away from the girls.

4th of July

We had a 4th of July breakfast at a park for our Ward at Buck park. We are having a great time with our niece and nephew, Kayla & Kyle, visiting from Utah for the whole month. The Simpsons came out to celebrate with us too. Later that night we hung out in the parking lot of Sutter Medical Center off of East Monte Vista. It's a great place to watch the fireworks.
