1st Piano Recital

This was their 1st piano recital. Maia played "Jolly Old Saint Nicholas" and Carissa played "Rudolf the Red-Nosed Reindeer". They both did so well.

Our 12 Year Wedding Anniversary!

We went to Sophia's Thai Kitchen in Davis and then walked to Ciocolat for dessert. I love walking around downtown Davis. Wish Vacaville had a similar places to eat. I LOVE you Scott! I have the BEST husband I could ever dream of. We've been together for a long time and I'm looking forward to being together for ETERNITY!

When we were in LA visiting my parents for a couple of weeks & they took us to The Grove in Hollywood. Amazing outdoor shopping mall and Farmer's Market. Last time I was here I was 18 and there was no mall, just the Farmer's Market. The American Girl store is a museum-like store that is never-ending. The girls loved the free Trolly ride. I went into the Abercrombie & Fitch store and they had a live shirtless male model to greet me and an employee who asked if I wanted my pic taken with him (no picture, sorry). Crazy.

Happy 2011 Halloween!

Scott carved these pumpkins for the girls. I took the guts out and roasted the seeds. Carissa's is the kitty and Maia's is the haunted house.

My Mom bought them these kitty dresses to wear in October.

This is Dr. Gillespie's house in Fairfield (4375 Green Valley Road). He has this big event every year. You go to his house before Halloween to carve a pumpkin that he provides. Then on Halloween he light's all the pumpkins (over a 400!). They were all so fancy too. He also opens his home (which is beautiful) to everyone and serves a whole spread of endless food (pizza, shrimp cocktail, meatballs, roasted chicken, cream puffs). He also passes out whole sized candy bars to kids and parents. This was our first time here. We will be there next year for sure!

2011-2012 School Portraits

School photos I took myself of Carissa & Maia. They turned out great! I usually use a backdrop to do these but I wanted a different look for this year. Also, it's the first year I didn't put them in dresses.

Oct. 1 - Dog Parade Day

Meet the 5th member of our family, Charley!
The SPCA hosted a Dog Parade today at Andrew's park. After the parade you had to bring your dog on stage for the judges. Charley didn't win anything, but he is a winner to us.
Charley had so much fun making lots of new friends today. He's going to sleep good tonight.

Camping Trip - Lake Collins

Went to Collins Lake (north of Sac) with our friends the Henrikson's. They have all the bells and whistles of camping gear and boat stuff. Amazing. We had so much fun. Carissa caught her first fish. The girls love fishing! Maia didn't catch one so she took a photo with Carissa's fish.

SF Giants Vs. Arizona DB - Sept. 3

We went to a Giants game (6 o'clock) on Sat with Scott's parents. They are visiting us until Wed and then they are off to Europe for two weeks. The Giants lost: 7 to 2 but we still had fun. I even went down the Coke bottle with the girls.

First Day of 2nd Grade! Aug. 17

We got to school 30 min early! I didn't want to be late and I wanted to have plenty of time to get a good parking spot and take these photos. As you can see in the background, there aren't very many kids there yet.It's tradition to take a photo with Hailey.

Henrikson Family Sealing - August 16

So happy for the Henrikson family! It was a beautiful sealing and a beautiful day. Scott and I were honored to be their escorts for their endowments and in everything else that needed to be done to prepare. Here are some of the photographs I took that day. Of course I have more, but these are the highlights.
