We let them play one game at the fair. This one is their favorite. Here they are with their prize.

Maia won 1st place for "Snow Tree".

Carissa won 1st place for her photograph, "Pinwheel".

Maia won two 1st place ribbons for her photographs of "Iris" and "Lagoon Valley".

Easter Morning

This is the very first year it was just Scott and I. We usually go to my parents house in LA or spend it with Scott's parents. We had our Easter egg hunt in the front yard/neighbor's yard. Scott made a treasure map for the girls to find their baskets.

Easter Bunny at Jelly Belly - April 22

Every year I take the girls to see the Easter Bunny at the Jelly Belly. It's a tradition I started when they were 2. They have the cutest bunny there! The best part is that they let you take your own pictures for free.

Easter Party - March 23

I invited some of Carissa and Maia's friends from their class to have a fun craft and game day after school. We had an egg race, bunny toss, and bunny crawl game. We ate cookies, jumped around, and even started a rock band!

SF Chinatown - March 12

We had a fun day in SF with my Mom. We also had a crazy surprise! If you look closely at the photo you can see naked bikers going down Lombard street. We were busy taking this photo and didn't realize. When we turned around from taking the photo, Scott immediately buried the girls' face into his legs. Maia was obedient not to look but Carissa was laughing and was trying to turn her head.

Valentine's Day

Jan. 5 - Maia's 6th lost tooth

Her smile shows the empty space and in her hand you see the tooth.Next morning, with her fancy dollar from the tooth fairy.

January 29th Snow Trip

We were driving on our way to visit Uncle Doug, Aunt Terry, and Nathan in Reno and stopped for a fun play in the snow. Scott's parents came with us.
