Meet Charile! Newest member of our family - 12/23

We found Charlie lost on our street Sat, 19th. We found him wandering our neighbors yard. Afraid he might get ran over, we called the Human Animal Services. They said they were too busy to come out and before you knew it, he had food and a warm bed and house to sleep in. The girls love him of course. They have wanted a puppy and kitty for a long time. He is a very well behaved dog and well potty trained. He looks very healthy and happy too. He has spent 3 nights so far. We are trying to locate the owner. The dog tag has his name but no home address. Also, the phone number on it doesn't take incoming calls (a useless tag).

We went to the County Shelter yesterday and they were able to contact the owner using the number I tried to call. The owner is about 19 years old is going to college in Sacramento. He had to leave the dog at his parents who don't really want the dog. So guess what? He asked us if we wanted to adopt him. After thinking (my heart said yes and my brain was telling me no) it over on the phone with Scott (we had about 10 min to decide), we decided to adopt him.
He's our unexpected Christmas present! His birthday is January 1st. He will be one year old.
Shhh....Charlie is sleeping.

Winter Wonderland at Discovery Kingdom - Dec. 5

No need to drive to the mountains this year. We got our fill at Six Flags. The snow hill here is so much fun for Carissa and Maia. They stood in line themselves and went down the hill repeatedly. It was freezing this night. We even had thermals on.

Carissa Looses Her First Tooth! Dec. 1

We were sad to have missed it since we were on the cruise. She was eating an apple at my friend Kim's house. Kim couldn't find it (she must have swallowed it) and grandma and grandpa weren't going to look for it it you know where.

Welcome Home Mommy & Daddy! Dec. 4

When we got home, we had a nice surprise from Carissa and Maia. They made us a cool poster and got us a welcome home cake and balloons!

Cruise to the Carribean: Nov. 27-Dec. 3

We went on a 5 night cruise to the Carribean on Carnival Ectasy for our 10 year wedding anniversary. We had so much fun. Loved the warm weather, crystal clear waters and beautiful sand. We stopped in Cozumel and Progresso, Yucatan. In Cozumel we went scuba diving for the first time. We went about 20 feet. It was amazing! We look forward to doing it again. In Progresso we looked at the Chichen Itza Mayan Ruins. It was a nice relaxing trip for sure. We even met another couple, Scotty and Holly that we had fun hanging out with. We still keep in contact with them and may see them in May when the come out here to SF for their honeymoon.
