Camping Trip - Lake Collins

Went to Collins Lake (north of Sac) with our friends the Henrikson's. They have all the bells and whistles of camping gear and boat stuff. Amazing. We had so much fun. Carissa caught her first fish. The girls love fishing! Maia didn't catch one so she took a photo with Carissa's fish.

SF Giants Vs. Arizona DB - Sept. 3

We went to a Giants game (6 o'clock) on Sat with Scott's parents. They are visiting us until Wed and then they are off to Europe for two weeks. The Giants lost: 7 to 2 but we still had fun. I even went down the Coke bottle with the girls.

First Day of 2nd Grade! Aug. 17

We got to school 30 min early! I didn't want to be late and I wanted to have plenty of time to get a good parking spot and take these photos. As you can see in the background, there aren't very many kids there yet.It's tradition to take a photo with Hailey.

Henrikson Family Sealing - August 16

So happy for the Henrikson family! It was a beautiful sealing and a beautiful day. Scott and I were honored to be their escorts for their endowments and in everything else that needed to be done to prepare. Here are some of the photographs I took that day. Of course I have more, but these are the highlights.

Sandy Beach - August 12

One more trip to Sandy Beach before school started. We were with JJ and her kids (she use to live in our house) and Laurie and her kids. I also brought Sophia.

Solano County Fair - Aug. 3 - Maia

Maia won four 1st place ribbons.

She's an awesome photographer. She's really good at abstract art. We didn't have very many entries this year because of my work schedule at Costco. I'm surprised I had any time at all to enter this year. I hope to do more for the girls next year. You can see the three photos I entered on My Photography Blog.

Burgener Family Reunion - July 28-31

We had so much fun seeing Scott's Mom's side of the family...parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, and cousins. It was short trip for sure but we did a lot. My favorite part of the trip was going to the temple with everyone. It was very spiritual. My second favorite memory is interviewing Kyle on turning 16 and talking about his upcoming fist date. My third favorite is video taping Carissa and Maia on Grandpa Burgener's lap as he told his famous bedtime story.

It's family tradition now to make a stop at the Salt Flats on the way home. The girls love it!

Sandy Beach - July 22

We went to Sandy Beach in Rio Vista (great day beach). If you like it hot and you want a tan, but don't want to drive to far...this is your beach! We went with Susan, Robyn, and Analise and her friends. I also took Sophia and her brother Jacob.
