We thought it would be fun to enter some of our artwork into the Fair this year. Carissa & Maia entered 13 art pieces each! They entered into 4 different categories: Drawing/Printmaking, Painting, Crafts, Mixed Media, and Jewelry. They pretty much dominated the entire Preschool display, which was funny (see slide show below).
Maia won twelve 1st place ribbons & one 2nd place ribbon
Carissa won seven 1st place ribbons & six 2nd place ribbons
Scott entered into the fair too. He made 4th of July pom poms and a firecracker from recycled materials. He won 3rd place for Mixed Recyclable Products in the Adult Recycling category.
I entered into the Fine Arts for Professional Photography. I won 3rd and 4th place ribbons for Computer Assisted. I also won a 4th place ribbon for Black & White Portrait. Not bad for my first time entering into the fair. There were a lot of entries and some good competition.

The preschool division display would have been very small if Maia and Carissa hadn't entered the fair. Good job girls! :)
