Easter Photos

ere are some photos. I had more, but I burnt some photos on a disk for Stacie (they went home with her). We had Easter at our house with Grandma & Grandpa Larsen, Stacie & Mark, Bryan & Anthony.

Phone Update

For those of you who read about my phone mishap, I'm happy to say that after 3 days of drying the phone it is working perfectly! I won't make that mistake again.

Easter Bunny

Scott had the day off from work, so we took the girls to the Jelly Belly Factory to meet the Easter Bunny. The line was so short that we went through 3x to take pictures (you know me, I got to get the perfect picture) and to say hi to the Easter Bunny. Carissa said, "I love the Easter Bunny right in my heart, I want to take him home."

Friends in a Box

I'm watching Hailey today at our house. Who needs toys? They played with it for an hour! It was a boat and a train.

Clumsy Day

If you call our house and you hear something that sounds like the ocean, it's just our phone. I had one of those clumsy days yesterday. I was on the phone when Maia needed "wiping". I tried to snug the phone between my neck and shoulder and it slipped down into the toilet. Luckily, I always do a flush before wiping. It's still gross to have it in the toilet and worse that I ruined it! We are attempting to dry it out and hoping it will be functional again. I usually have my headset on when multitasking, but this was one of those unplanned (clumsy) moments. Good thing I have a handy husband who knows how to take things apart and put things back together.

Skate Park

Marlina invited us to the skate park on base today. It was a nice 85 degree sunny day! Carissa & Maia had fun with their best friend, Hailey. See the half pipe in the background? Carissa decided to climb to the top to slide down (she saw Maia do it) but cried hysterically when she got to the top. She was afraid to come down. Luckily a little girl in the park rescued her by gently pushing her down.

My 35th Birthday!

I had a great birthday! It's nice when your birthday lasts more than one day! Thank you to everyone who remembered my birthday and who made it extra special! Funny how I'm wearing the same shirt in every photo. It was my birthday shirt. LOL

Bring Your Daughters To Work Day

It wasn't really bring your daughter to work day, especially at a major construction sight! We went to visit Scott at his location of the week, UC Berkeley. Scott showed me around (the girls couldn't go into building - way to dangerous). The building was used in the 60's. So you can imagine all the strange, drug induced poetry and paintings all over the walls and ceiling of this place. We walked down the street and had a nice lunch together. It was fun. We plan on doing it again next week at his new location, Oakland Museum.
